Last weekend, we marked the opening of the new activity year in the most meaningful way — with a community Shabbat in Efrat, joined by more than fifty participants: mentees and mentors from the Netanya branch.
It was a moment to pause the rush of the new year, come together, reconnect, and remember why we do what we do.
Throughout the Shabbat, the mentees and mentors enjoyed shared prayers, joyful Shabbat meals, inspiring discussion circles, quality one-on-one time, and many small moments of connection. Meanwhile, the wonderful families back home were gifted with a much-needed break and time to recharge together.
The warm atmosphere, the sense of acceptance, and the simple, genuine love that fills every Shabbat like this — are the beating heart of our organization.
A huge thank-you to our hosts from Gafen Bnei Akiva in Efrat, to our devoted mentors, to the branch staff for the thoughtful planning, and to every participant who helped make this Shabbat a moving and uplifting start to a year full of action, community, and goodness. :)
