Et La'asot was founded in 2006 by Rabbi Yossi Munk with the vision of improving the quality of life of children and teens with varying types of disabilities, including CP, autism, Down syndrome, genetic syndromes and physical disabilities. Hundreds of teenagers volunteer in our program and provide services to hundreds of families.
Et La'asot is a non-profit organization (NPO 580458248) that is primarily run by volunteers. We comply with all of the legal requirements of a NPO and our finances are managed by a certified accountant.
We have two regional offices, located in Netanya and Beit Shemesh. Children from all over the country participate in our camps and outings.
Our vision is to:
- To provide a supportive "community" for the families.
- To enable the families to take a break when needed, in order to relax and recharge their batteries
- Empower and support the family as a whole and the person with a disability within the family.
- Build a network of active teen and adult volunteers to provide services for the families in need, free of charge.
