At Lag Baomer we celebrate the end of the plague which killed 24,000 of Rabi Akivas' students.

Until then, men do not shave or cut their hair and do not listen to music.

Beit Shemesh branch celebrated the end of the mourning period by having a party just for the special boys, their tutors and male volunteers.

Hair dressers and barbers arived, music was played and a lot of food has been served.
