'Etlaasot' volunteers don't give up on the human touch
These days, with the "Roaring Lion" war outside and tension at its peak, it's easy to forget that even amid the storm, there are islands of sanity, smiles, and human connection.
In 'Etlaasot', our amazing volunteers prove that nothing can stop togetherness.
So what's happening with us on the ground?
Zoom Respite: We enter the families' living rooms through the screen, giving parents a moment of peace and a little fun for the children.
Mentoring meetings: Despite everything, some of our mentors and mentees did not give up and met face to face (according to the guidelines, of course). Seeing this connection today simply expands the heart.
Nearby oxygen, some mentors go out with the mentees for a short game near the house, just to breathe air, move the body, and remind ourselves that there are also moments of simplicity and play.
Our volunteers are the heroes of the home front.
Thank you for being everywhere again, bringing light where it is needed most.
